Soft skills refer to a set of personal attributes and qualities that enable individuals to interact effectively and harmoniously with others. Unlike technical or hard skills, which are specific to your particular field, soft skills are more universal and transferable across various industries and professions.
Soft skills are highly valued by employers as they contribute to a positive work environment, effective teamwork, and improved productivity. These skills are also important for personal development, career advancement, and establishing successful relationships in various aspects of life.
Education Esbjerg’s tool “Tough Soft Skills” is based on research, knowledge, a questionnaire, and feedback from “KYSS – Kickstart your Soft Skills.” KYSS is developed by AP Hogeschool Antwerp in collaboration with VDAB and Groep INTRO. The project was supported by the European Social Fund’s program for “Innovation and Transnationality” under the theme of “Lifelong learning” with a focus on “Learning and Competencies.” “Toughen Your Soft Skills” belongs to Education Esbjerg.
