Nominate one or more fellow students

Do you know a student or a group of students who have truly made a difference to the student community? It could be someone who has taken the initiative to organise social activities, brought students closer together, or helped create a stronger sense of community both within and across study programmes in Esbjerg.

Now is your chance to nominate them for the E.1 Social Award – and give them the opportunity to win DKK 20,000. Candidates can be nominated by students or lecturers until 1 November. The winners will be chosen by the audience at the E.1 Awards on 25 November at 4:45 PM.

Tips for your nomination

You don’t need to write a long nomination. A few specific examples simply make it much easier for us to understand why your candidate deserves the Social Award.

What have they done?

Tell us about an activity, initiative or special effort they have made for the student community.

What difference has it made?

What impact has their effort had on other students, student wellbeing or the sense of community?

Why them?

What do you think makes this person or group’s contribution special and worth highlighting?

Henrik Uhd Christensen Study Travel Grant

The Henrik Uhd Christensen Study Travel Grant of 25,000 DKK was established as a tribute to the former CEO of Viking, Henrik Uhd Christensen, who was also a strong ambassador for Esbjerg as a student city. The grant is financially supported by the Claus Sørensen Foundation and is awarded to a student who wishes to enhance their skills through a stay abroad while also serving as an ambassador for Esbjerg and E.1.
