The co-creator group consists of current and former students who act as ambassadors, idea developers, and facilitators of social belonging events and peer-to-peer activities for other students.

A key contribution from E.1 Co-Creators is the student voice in the development of our various initiatives, which enhances our ability to meet students’ needs. E.1 Co-Creators consists of enthusiastic students from different higher education institutions in Esbjerg. Their joint effort in organizing events for fellow students plays a crucial role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive study environment.

Co-Creators is a great opportunity to have a voice in student life in Esbjerg – and to become part of an engaged and fun community of students.

The event team or the communication team?

As a Co-Creator, you have the opportunity to become part of either the Event Team and/or the Communication Team.

The Event Team works with planning and facilitating activities and events. Here, you contribute to developing ideas, coordinating activities, and ensuring that events are carried out in a professional and engaging way.

The Communication Team works closely with E.1’s marketing department to make events and activities visible and promote them. This can include developing content, creating content plans, producing graphic materials, and handling other communication tasks that help generate awareness around events.

How much time do you spend as a Co-Creator?

The time commitment can vary. Many of our current Co-Creators describe it as something you “go to,” much like others go to football or another leisure activity.

The Event Team meets approximately 8 times a year, where they plan upcoming events together. In addition, it is up to each individual Co-Creator which events they would like to help facilitate/host.

The Communication Team meets around 4 times a year, where they work on communication and marketing for the events planned by the Event Team.

In addition, we also host 2 social team-building days each year, where all Co-Creators come together for an enjoyable day focused on community and engaging activities.

How many events do E.1 Co-Creators organize?

E.1 Co-Creators plan and host approximately 24 events each year. Overall, E.1 organizes around 150 free events annually, of which about 24 are arranged by the Co-Creators.

In addition, Co-Creators also play an important role in planning and hosting E.1 Kongekampen, which takes place every year in May, as well as Welcome Week, which takes place in September.

What skills can I gain as a Co-Creator?

Being a Co-Creator is also a learning journey. As a Co-Creator, you have the opportunity to develop a range of skills within areas such as planning, collaboration, communication, and event management.

When your time as a Co-Creator comes to an end, you will receive both a diploma and a competency description documenting the experiences and skills you have gained along the way. This can serve as a strong reference on your CV when applying for student jobs, internships, or other opportunities in the future
